What is a Universal Line of Credit?

Here at HFCU, we strive to provide you with products and services that align to your financial goals. We are thrilled to announce that we have added a personal line of credit option to our product offerings. Known at HFCU as the Universal Line of Credit (Un-LOC), this new, unsecured personal line of credit product provides you with convenient access to funds whenever, and however, you may need them. With no term limit, a maximum loan amount up to $50,000 and no collateral needed, the Un-LOC may be a great option for you to fund just about anything in your universe. *As of August 17, 2023, the 12.50% Annual Percentage Rate (APR) is available on the Universal Line of Credit (Un-LOC) and subject to change. The APR is variable and is based upon an index plus a margin. The APR will vary with Prime Rate (the index) as published in the Wall Street Journal (currently 8.50%). The margin will be based on credit worthiness and will vary, based on credit, from 4.00% to 11.00%. The maximum rate is 25.00% APR. Maximum loan amount up to $50,000. There are no annual fees. Minimum monthly payments based on 2.00% of outstanding balance (payment of $20.00 per month based on $1,000 balance).Rates are subject to change. Subject to credit approval, eligibility and credit qualifications. The Universal Line of Credit may be reduced or additional extensions of credit limited if certain circumstances occur. Approval for personal line of credit requires having a new or existing share account with the credit union.
