WHY DID HFCU DO A SYSTEM UPGRADE?

As your Credit Union, we continually look to maximize your experience with us by effectively leveraging technology. With this in mind, and after careful evaluation, we decided to invest in significant technological updates. From a new and more robust online banking platform, easy-to-use online account opening, and tap-n-go debit cards, just to name a few, not only will this transition to improved products and services equip HFCU with the tools to better serve you in our branches, but it will also aid us in providing you with enhanced digital products and services to allow for easier and frustration free banking. Please be sure to watch for important communication and updates over the coming months as we work on the planning, design and implementation of new technology solutions from May 3 - 6, 2024!

WHAT IS STAYING THE SAME? 

Throughout the many months of preparation for moving to a new banking system, our goal has been to limit the impact on our members. We have worked diligently to try to make the transition as seamless as possible for you. As a result, the items below will remain the same after our System Upgrade Weekend.

  • Routing/Transit Number - Routing/Transit numbers will remain the same. Our routing number is 221978791. This is the 9 digit number that appears on the bottom left corner of your checks. It identifies that the check is from HFCU.
  • Debit Cards - All existing HFCU Visa® debit cards will work the same during and after the Upgrade.
  • Online & Mobile Banking Usernames - Your online and mobile banking username will remain the same*.
  • *Joint users that share usernames, please click here for more information.
  • Mobile Pay & Digital Wallets - All existing Mobile Payment Services or Digital Wallets such as Apple Pay®, Samsung Pay, etc, will continue to function as they normally do.
  • Phone Number - The HFCU phone number of 845.561.5607 will remain the same and HOPE as well as our entire team will continue to be available to assist you.
  • Credit Cards - All existing HFCU Visa® credit cards will work the same throughout and after the upgrade.
  • PIN # - All existing debit card PINs will remain the same.
  • Automated Transactions - Automated deposits and withdrawals will continue without interruption.
