Member Numbers & Account Numbers

3.1.24: Over the years, you may have memorized what HFCU has referred to as your “Member Number(s)” and our HFCU team has been right there with you. However, in order for us to bring you the most enhanced banking experience, we will be transitioning away from what you have come to know as your “Member Number(s)” and now simply refer to them as “Account Number(s).” So how will this be done?

When looking at your accounts, the oldest savings account you have with us, even the one you may have opened in 1970 (yes we have those on file) will become your “Primary Savings Account Number.” The original Member Number associated with this account plus additional numbers added to the end of it, will become your “Primary Savings Account Number.”

For example, if your Member Number on the oldest savings account you have with HFCU is 12345678, after the Upgrade, your Primary Savings Account Number may look something like this: 123456780002.

Aside from your Primary Savings Account Number, all of your other account numbers associated with additional products such as, but not limited to, loans, business products, checking accounts, share certificates, additional savings and money market accounts will be changed in the same manner as the Primary Savings Account by adding a few additional numbers to the end of the current number.

For example, if your checking account number is 12345678, after the Upgrade, your checking account number may look something like this: 12345678075.

IDENTITY VERIFICATION: As we have always done, following the Upgrade we will confirm your identity to protect your accounts by asking you to confirm other personal identifying information. No need to memorize long numbers!

LIST OF ACCOUNT NUMBERS: For a full list of your current HFCU accounts ahead of the Upgrade, please refer to your April Statement, call us or stop by your local branch and our team would be happy to review all of the details with you. For a list of where you can find your new account numbers following the Upgrade, click the button below.

Statements & E-Statements

Addition 5.1.24:

Partial Monthly Statement Information

For monthly statement holders, this is a partial statement that reflects transactions from May 1 through May 3 and APY/dividends from May 1 through May 2. As this statement, and the next one you will receive, do not include the full month of May cycle, we want you to be aware that your APY/interest amount(s) listed, may appear differently than what you would expect as the month is broken into two cycles. We want to assure you that we have taken the necessary steps to ensure that they are correct. You will be receiving your secondary May Statement, which will reflect transactions from May 4 through May 31 and APY/dividends from May 3 through May 31, the first week in June from our new statement provider. As such, we want to remind you that the Statement will have a new look and feel. To view an example of what to expect, please  click the “View Sample Statement” button.

Partial Quarterly Statement Information

For quarterly statement holders, your partial statement will reflect transactions from April 1 through May 3 and APY/dividends from April 1 through May 2. We want to assure you that we have taken the necessary steps to ensure that they are correct. You will be receiving your secondary quarterly statement, which will reflect transactions from May 4 through June 30 and APY/dividends from May 3 through June 30, the first week in July from our new statement provider.
