Wire transfers are a secure way to transfer funds. Unfortunately we can’t process a wire transfer over the phone, by mail or fax, without first having written authorization. What is a Wire Transfer?
Wire transfers are important tools for you when you need to send money quickly and securely—especially when you are sending money to someone in a different geographic location. They also allow you to transfer a large amount of money when needed. A transfer is usually initiated from one bank or financial institution to another. Rather than cash, the participating institutions share information about the recipient, the bank receiving account number, and the amount transferred.
