In March 2023, HFCU became the official naming rights partner of the Hudson Valley Renegades!
This partnership is more than a name on a ballpark. It represents a thoughtful investment in our region and supports a shared community space.
Members gain access to discounted tickets at for select games and merchandise, while community-focused initiatives include programs such as Home Runs for Charity benefiting the Dutchess Food Pantry, the Youth Field Betterment Program supporting the local baseball and softball fields, scholarships for student-athletes, and “Show on the Road” visits to local Little League programs. Additional efforts include Community Star Awards, Education Days focused on financial literacy and teamwork, and Veterans Food Drives supporting VA hospitals in Castle Point and Montrose.

Youth Field Betterment
Heritage Financial Credit Union is proud to partner with the Hudson Valley Renegades to invest in the future of our local communities through the Youth Field Betterment Program. This annual initiative provides renovations and improvements to youth baseball and softball fields across the Hudson Valley, creating safer, more accessible, and more enjoyable spaces for young athletes to play.
By enhancing local recreational facilities, the program supports youth development, encourages active lifestyles, and strengthens the communities we serve. Together with the Hudson Valley Renegades, we’re helping ensure that future generations have quality places to learn, grow, and make lasting memories, both on and off the field.
Since launching in 2023, the partnership has revitalized fields across the Hudson Valley, including:
- 2023: Sauter Field at Spratt Park (City of Poughkeepsie)
- 2024: Lee Town Park (East Fishkill Babe Ruth League)
- 2025: Town of Crawford Park (Pine Bush Little League)
- 2026: Stanley Still Park (Town of Poughkeepsie Girls Softball)
Education Days
Heritage Financial Credit Union is proud to partner with the Hudson Valley Renegades to bring financial literacy and teamwork to local students through the annual Education Days program. Each spring, HFCU representatives join Renegades team members and mascots Rascal and Rosie to visit schools throughout the Hudson Valley, delivering engaging presentations that combine money management lessons with interactive activities promoting teamwork, community involvement, and lifelong learning.
Schools can apply through the Hudson Valley Renegades each year for the opportunity to host an Education Days presentation. Programs are typically held during April, May, and June.
Homeruns For Charity & Scholarships
Heritage Financial Credit Union is proud to sponsor the Home Runs for Charity initiative, turning every Renegades home game, home run into an opportunity to give back. Throughout the season, each home run hit helps generate support for the Dutchess Food Pantry, strengthening the communities we serve while celebrating America’s favorite pastime.
In addition to the homeruns, HFCU also sponsors scholarships for local student athletes to assist them in their educational and athletic pursuits.
Community Star Awards
Through this program we work with the Renegades to recognize individuals who make a meaningful difference in our communities through the Community Star Awards. This initiative celebrates local volunteers, educators, first responders, coaches, and other community leaders whose dedication and service positively impact the lives of those around them.
Throughout the baseball season, community members can submit nominations through the Renegades website and Community Star recipients are recognized at Hudson Valley Renegades home games, honoring their contributions and inspiring others to make a difference in the communities we proudly serve.
Other Initiatives
From connecting with fans at home games and participating in Rascal’s Kids Club events to volunteering alongside Renegades players at the Regional Food Bank and the Montrose and Castle Point VA hospitals, our partnership is built on a shared commitment to giving back. Together, we proudly support the people and organizations that make the Hudson Valley a stronger, more connected community.
