Jonathan P. Shakelton serves as Executive Vice President at Heritage Financial Credit Union, providing strategic leadership and oversight of the organization’s operations, lending, finance, risk, compliance, security, and business services functions. With more than 20 years of experience in financial services, he has held progressive leadership roles across operations, lending, and executive management.
Jonathan brings extensive expertise in strategic planning, operational excellence, organizational development, enterprise risk management, and leading initiatives that strengthen both employee and member experiences. His leadership philosophy is rooted in the values he learned growing up in a local family-owned business, where community, integrity, and personal relationships were the foundation of success. Today, he remains committed to investing in people, empowering teams, and creating meaningful value for members, employees, and the communities Heritage Financial Credit Union serves.
Outside of work, Jonathan enjoys traveling, spending time with his dogs, staying current with emerging technology, and four wheeling as a hobby.
